Zero Procure started working with the co-working space brand Huckletree in the Autumn of 2020.
Being a fast-growing business across multiple sites, Huckletree wanted to bring some consolidation to their supply chain and make sure that their business was receiving best value.
Working closely with the operations team at Huckletree, Zero Procure are providing a free resource to help identify new suppliers and re-negotiate with existing ones to move towards having the supply chain that best fits their business.
One of our early projects was a full review of the group’s cleaning requirements. As the locations for the business were not only across mainland UK, but also in The Republic of Ireland, just looking for one supplier wouldn’t actually be the best fit. We identified there are certain advantages to having a local supplier for certain aspects of the supply chain.
With this in mind Zero Procure looked to consolidate suppliers where it made sense geographically and then re-negotiated with the relevant supplier to the venues for specific venues.
The relationship with Zero Procure is such that as and when expenditure on goods and services come into focus, we will be there to add our experience and supplier relationships to help secure the best deals for Huckletree.
Ben Swindells, Director, Real Estates and Broker Partnerships at Huckletree said “The Zero Procure models works very well for our business as they are there to assist and add a free resource and experience to our procurement strategy. So far it has been nothing but positive and I would recommend that any business consider this innovative way of working.
